As we head into colder weather and the possibility of inclement conditions, we wanted to take a moment to share how weather-related schedule updates are handled. Please note that we follow the SAISD bad weather schedule. In the event of delayed starts, early dismissals, or closures due to weather, our operations will align accordingly. Any schedule changes or updates will be communicated as soon as possible. We encourage you to monitor SAISD announcements during severe weather, as they will guide our decisions as well. Country Cottages

Located at 51 N. Koenigheim, Country Cottages was originally built in 1982 and is a 14-unit community offering one-bedroom apartments. Residents enjoy professional, personalized service and the convenience of 24-hour emergency maintenance. Each unit features an open floor plan, a fully-equiped kitchen with refrigerator and stove/oven, and ceiling fans.

Six of the apartments are available to market-rate renters. The remaining eight were remodeled through partnership with the City of San Angelo and Galilee CDC to provide housing for Unsheltered Veterans. These Veterans receive furnished homes along with case management support through our Housing Solutions department.
